Our Process

Product Design & Development Process Flow

Transforming innovative ideas into marketable technology through systematic design excellence

1
PHASE 1

Ideation

This initial stage involves brainstorming and generating new product concepts. It can stem from market research, customer feedback, competitive analysis, or internal innovation.

2
PHASE 2

Research & Validation

Once ideas are generated, thorough research is conducted to assess market viability, target audience, technical feasibility, and potential risks. This stage often includes market surveys, focus groups, and competitive analysis.

3
PHASE 3

Concept Development

In this phase, the validated ideas are refined into more detailed concepts. This includes defining the product's core features, functionalities, and target specifications.

4
PHASE 4

Design

This is where the actual design of the product takes place. It can be broken down into:

  • Industrial Design: Focusing on the product's aesthetics, ergonomics, and user experience
  • Engineering Design: Concentrating on the technical aspects, materials, manufacturing processes, and detailed component design
5
PHASE 5

Prototyping

Physical or digital prototypes are created to test and evaluate the design. This iterative process allows for identifying flaws, making improvements, and gathering user feedback before final production.

6
PHASE 6

Testing & Refinement

Prototypes undergo rigorous testing to ensure they meet performance, safety, and quality standards. Feedback from testing leads to further refinements and iterations of the design.

7
PHASE 7

Manufacturing & Production

Once the design is finalized and validated, the product moves into the manufacturing and production phase. This involves setting up production lines, sourcing materials, and mass-producing the product.

8
PHASE 8

Launch & Distribution

The product is officially launched into the market, supported by marketing and sales efforts. Distribution channels are established to make the product available to customers.

9
PHASE 9

Post-Launch Evaluation & Improvement

After launch, product performance is continuously monitored, and customer feedback is gathered. This information is used to identify areas for improvement, inform future product iterations, and potentially develop new versions or accessories.

EPC: Engineering, Procurement & Construction

Comprehensive end-to-end project delivery from concept to completion

1
INITIATION

Project Conception & Feasibility

This initial stage involves defining the project's objectives, scope, and preliminary requirements. A feasibility study is conducted to assess the technical, economic, and environmental viability of the project.

2
PREPARATION

Contractor Prequalification & Tender Preparation

Potential EPC contractors are identified and pre-qualified based on their experience, financial stability, and technical capabilities. The project owner then prepares a detailed tender package, including the project scope, technical specifications, commercial terms, and evaluation criteria.

3
BIDDING

Bidding & Proposal Submission

Prequalified contractors are invited to submit their bids, which typically include their proposed technical solution, project schedule, cost breakdown, and commercial terms. This is a competitive process where contractors present their best offerings.

4
AWARD

Contract Award

After successful negotiations, the project owner awards the EPC contract to the chosen contractor. This marks the formal agreement for the contractor to undertake the entire project from design to completion.

5
ENGINEERING

Engineering & Design

The EPC contractor commences detailed engineering design based on the project requirements. This includes all necessary calculations, drawings, specifications, and plans for the project's civil, mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

6
PROCUREMENT

Procurement

The contractor is responsible for procuring all necessary materials, equipment, and services for the project. This involves vendor selection, purchasing, quality control, and logistics to ensure timely delivery to the construction site.

7
CONSTRUCTION

Construction

This phase involves the physical execution of the project on site. The EPC contractor manages all construction activities, including site preparation, civil works, installation of equipment, and erection of structures, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.

8
COMMISSIONING

Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning

Once construction is complete, the pre-commissioning phase involves checking and testing individual systems and components. Commissioning then brings the entire facility online, verifying its functionality and performance against design specifications.

9
HANDOVER

Handover & Closeout

Upon successful completion of commissioning, the EPC contractor hands over the operational facility to the project owner. This includes all documentation, warranties, and training for the owner's operating staff. Project closeout involves final payment, release of retentions, and resolution of any outstanding issues.

10
WARRANTY

Warranty & Post-Completion Support

The EPC contractor provides ongoing support during the warranty period, addressing any defects or issues that arise and ensuring the facility operates as designed.
